    Common questions

    Before you ask

    A few practical
    questions.

    Who visits?

A WithGrace visitor. We check availability for your postcode and agree the visit details with you first.

Can I arrange this for a parent?

Yes, with their agreement. The plan follows their choice of tasks and food preferences, including how much they want to take part.

Is this a meal delivery service?

This is help at home. Food is prepared or heated in the kitchen, using the groceries chosen for the visit.

Do you clean the whole house?

We wash the dishes and wipe the surfaces used for the meal. Laundry and other light cleaning are agreed in advance, with time allowed for each task.

Can you help over the phone?

A council call or a friendly chat can be planned separately from a visit, with its own agreed time. Before contacting the council, we check your permission and whether it can speak to us. We cannot promise a reply or resolution.

    Can we have regular visits?

Regular visits depend on availability in your area and the agreed visit plan.

    What is outside the service?

WithGrace covers practical help at home and agreed calls, letters and forms. We do not provide personal care, physical help with eating, administering medication, medication reminders or specialist dietary advice. If you need personal care, we can connect you with a local care agency, which agrees its own care plan and fees with you. Help with calls, letters and forms does not include medical, legal or financial advice, or emergency help.
